[Oh--Oh, that looks bad. He's just coming back in from the bathroom when Edward starts writhing on the bed, whining--and Oswald's throat tightens because that surely must be the second stage. He turns, going back into the bathroom to get the last clean towel, soaking it in cold water, before moving back to go sit on the bed, and starting to wipe down Edward's forehead and face--and then down his neck to avoid the bandages, his chest--it won't help too much, not really, but he has the vaguest memory of someone doing that for him when he was in the same state, and so he just...does it. What else can he do?]
