No, no, baklava. It's a dessert with pistachios, honey and dough.

[Enygma oh my god] It's not. That's simply the name of it--it means to layer something. At least, that's what it's called back in Jerusalem. Over here, they call it placenta cake, and they add cheese to it.

...Humans have such odd names for things.

Everything has to be called something.

I suppose, though I question if mortals can really remember all those words.

Well, not all of them, because they change with the different languages, after all.

...Ah. Yes. This is a problem for mortals, right? I have an innate understanding of all your languages, at least. What words I need to know, anyway.

That sounds convenient. But alas, we mortals have been charged with speaking many different tongues, and often only knowing one or two or three different ones. Sometimes more, depending on where you live.

That must make communication very inconvenient. How many do you know?

Hmmm...Well, I know Latin, Greek and Hebrew essentially fluently; I've got a fairly good handle on Arabic as well. So three and a half?

Why would you only half learn a language? You may as well finish learning the whole thing.

Lack of time or need for the finer details of the language. I have other things to spend my time on.
