Ah... I should be heading to bed, but... We can... We can talk again on the boat, right...?

I--certainly. [alsdkhfs why is HE feeling flustered???] I'd like that.

[enigmaster]

Oh, good... I'm glad to hear that. Then, um... good night. [He'll start getting up, so he can get off to bed, then.]

Yes. Good night, Edward. [hhhhhh he'll just watch him go as you do and then remember half a second later--] Ah, um, sweet dreams! [called after him lol scream]

[enigmaster]

[He pauses and looks back at Oswald.] Ah... you, too. [Just, smiling a bit nervously at him for a moment, before he's off.]

[aaaaaAAAAAAAAA help what just happened??? what just happened. oh heck he shouldn't have been weird with that last bit but TOO LATE NOW h e l p he'll just also go to bed soon after]

[He can go get some rest, then. They'll be up pretty early the next day, though Edward's not around here. He's... a little higher up. Up by the monument at the top of the hill, in fact, if Oswald cares to go find him or ask around.]

[he does, in fact, ask around.

And then makes the trek to the top of the hill, which he admittedly regrets about a third of the way up as he remembers that he's not really someone who goes hiking that often.

Or ever.

But he does finally make it, moving to sit on the closest available flat rock and look around for Edward ]

[Edward is there. He's up high, next to the monument. But rather than praying, he's looking out at the scenery. Just... taking it in. He looks pretty distracted.]

[Oh, well then. Oswald will give his ankle a moment to rest before pulling himself to his feet and making his way over to Edward, leaning on his cane as he steps up beside him]

...well. I was going to complain about the hike, but now that I'm up here, I think I see what all the fuss is about.

[enigmaster]

[Edward starts, looking over at Oswald.] Ah... mhm... it's an impressive view, isn't it?

[agoodname]

It certainly is. All that...water. [he says it lightly. It is a beautiful view, after all. He glances at Edward] Do you come up here often?

[enigmaster]

Not often at all. I, um... I stay inside, most of the time, so... [...] But, well, I'll be leaving soon, so... I just wanted a good look at it all.

[agoodname]

True enough. [he glances back out at the ocean] One last look before your epic journey~? [he's teasing a bit]

[enigmaster]

Something like that. [He forces a smile.] It's kind of scary, leaving.

[agoodname]

I can imagine, having been here for so long.

[enigmaster]

Mhm... I haven't really left since I moved here... You must be glad, though. Can't wait to leave, right? [It's a little bit teasing.]

[agoodname]

Yes, well. Everyone was certainly very...hospitable, but I can't deny that you're right.

[enigmaster]

Too quiet and peaceful, I suppose.

[agoodname]

Far too much so. [he glances at him, smirking] I can almost hear myself think. It's terrible~

[enigmaster]

Poor you. Well, we'll be on the water soon enough, far away from the nice village. It won't be able to hurt you any more.

[agoodname]

Thank goodness. The sound of birds and wildlife replaced with the sounds of far too many people. I simply can't wait.

[enigmaster]

We will be stopping in Kilika first. That's a little more like Besaid. But you can always just stay on the boat, of course.
