| | [Ever since the end of October and the Halloween decorations have been getting taken down in the city, Edward's been working on... research. A lot of it. Both around town and online. It's the first time he's really had the opportunity to actually do any research into the whole ghost thing, honestly, but... That isn't his main motivation. His main motivation is, of course, Oswald. Sure, Oswald has said that Edward is helping plenty already, but it doesn't feel like he is. It feels as if... surely, there's more he can do. Most of the writing he's found online or in person hasn't been helpful. There's really nothing that seems to help or apply at all. So now he's trying out more... direct methods. Today, that means... some crystals. And a candle. The crystals he's put out on the dining table and the candle lit, of course. It's supposed to help with "spiritual matters". ...Edward is just watching, elbows on the table, resting his head on his hands. He's. Been staring for a bit now. Nothing has happened. This is exactly why he's doing this while Oswald's away.] ...This was a stupid idea. |

| | ...I don't know. Apparently they're, um... supposed to be good for... boosting spiritual power. Or something... [See now he's just kind of embarrassed.] |

| | Yeah. I can mark this one down as an error, at least. The crystals are just pretty rocks and the candle is... lavender scented. Great. [He sighs and rests his head on the table for a moment.] |

| | I'm sure it'll go alright, between the two of us... I'm... alright with a recipe, anyway. If the instructions are clear enough. |
