[the morning is rather uneventful. He's used to Edward sleeping through mornings, mostly, so having him there is good, at least. He'll make breakfast and coffee for the both of them, then.]

[Yeah, Edward sure is here! But is he necessarily Here? Jury's out on that one. He's awake, but definitely a little... zoned out? ...He's definitely grateful for the coffee and breakfast. Mostly the former, right now. He's... just gonna drink up, hoping it'll make the exhaustion go away a little. It doesn't, it just makes him more aware of it. Drat.]

Oh, uh... [The problem now is that it's a direct question and Edward... doesn't like lying.] Not... very much, I guess...

Um... I guess if I had to guess the number of hours I got, I'd have to say... ...zero...

Zero? [it's half-sputtered for a moment, as Oswald sets down his knife and fork] Why didn't you wake me?

...What would've been the point of that?

I--[....but then he halts because, really, what would be the point? What could he do? Oswald swallows] I don't know. I could...I could help, maybe? At least you wouldn't be alone.

And then you wouldn't have gotten any sleep either, when you're the one who has work. [Edward, meanwhile, doesn't really... have any real responsibilities, like Oswald does. So.] It's fine, really.

And it's not like I was alone, really. You were there, you were just asleep.

...I suppose so. [not as helpful as he'd like, really, but...well. He's just worried, that's all] Do you think you'll be able to sleep once I leave?

Sometimes. Not too often anymore now. [Now that he's not getting woken up by ghosts anymore.] I just have to wait it out... That's all.
