[That gets a grumble in response, before Edward vanishes. And out he goes, into the cold. The fur helps, but only so much -- and his wings don't really have even that advantage. It's freezing out there. But, well... they need more food than this. With two people, they're going through a lot more food. So Edward wants to bring in more than just one rabbit. Maybe he can get lucky and find two? A deer would be great, but... he's not too hopeful.]

[And Edward... does not return that afternoon. Or evening. He's still out.]

[hhhhh great neat fine that's fine he's probably just still looking. He definitely hasn't frozen to death in a snowbank somewhere. Anyway Oswald will keep himself as busy as possible, hobbling around with his crutch and working on cleaning out more of the downstairs rooms, making them more livable, sweeping, dusting, cleaning, definitely checking outside regularly to see if he's showed up. Definitely not worried.]

[Of course not. Not worried at all, I'm sure. Certainly not even when Edward still isn't there hours later. In fact, there's no sign of him at all until well into the night, when the doors open and Edward is there, dragging... something behind him.]
