[Maybe Edward will kind of... hold Oswald's hand back, a little?] Oh, I... well, most of the details are, technically. But at the moment I'm not focusing on cases so much and more upgrading and updating all the systems.

Oh, very. I mean, I don't think anyone's ever updated them, so I'm basically having to redo a bunch of the code from scratch. I don't mind it, though. The work itself, anyway. It's fun.

It's kind of like a puzzle, in a way. And I enjoy puzzles.

[Edward ducks his head a little, blushing all over again. He can't believe he just went and said that, he feels ridiculous.] ...I've got a break coming up soon, by the way. In case you wanted to, uh... hang out. During that.

Oh... okay. Good. Do, you, um... I mean... is there anywhere you'd like to go, or... [since... it'd be dumb to just hang out at the desk like this]

Hmmm~ Well, there's always the card catalogue room. That's a great place to hang out. [and he's squeezing Edward's wrist gently, using it to punctuate that emphasis]

[Oswald tilts his head slightly at that] Unless you have a better idea?

Ah, no, no, that's good! Definitely. I'm just checking, but... My break's in fifteen minutes, so. I'll be good to go then?

[that smile reappears then, sly] I'll look forward to it~ [he winks, before squeezing his hand one more time before releasing him, sliding off the desk] I'd better let you work, then, shouldn't I? I'd hate to distract you~

You're not-- [...no, he is] Yes, well. I'll, ah. Hm. I'll just meet you once I'm ready, then?

I'll see you there~ [he gives him a short finger-wave, before disappearing among the stacks of books]

[HHHHHHH YEP OKAY still not used to this... The next fifteen minutes go by so goddamn slowly, he hates it. The second it's break time, he puts up the "back later" sign and just hurries over to the card catalogue room. But like, you know. Smoothly. Like a normal person.]
