Mortals are ridiculous. Though they probably got it from the Olympians, so I suppose I can't blame them that much. [...nom.] Aphrodite is probably amused.

Well, I can't entirely say that you're wrong, there. [he sounds amused] Considering most of the stories about the Olympians, it's not that shocking that they're patently ridiculous.

I don't know what mortals say about them. But most of it's probably true.

True enough. With family like that, well...I suppose it keeps things interesting.

Not that we really keep in contact, mind. I don't visit Olympus and they don't come to the Underworld, so it's only in the mortal realm we run into each other, when they've decided to pay it a visit.

So you don't have much contact with them in general, then.

Not especially. I see Ares, on occasion, during times of great conflict. Aphrodite, during lover's spats gone wrong, Poseidon for deaths at sea, and so on, but those times are rare. They're not especially interested in the likes of me.

In what way is it a loss for them? It only makes sense.

Because they don't get the chance to get to know you. [obviously]
