Ah... Sorry. Um. Yevon is... the primary faith in Spira. Almost everyone follows the teachings of Yevon. The temples I have to visit on the pilgrimage are all of Yevon, as well. My faith is part of what lets me be a summoner in the first place.

Mhm. Not many, but... standard black and white magic is easy enough to learn, really. It's summoning magic that's... much rarer.

Magic takes... a lot of study and practice. But people can learn it. Summoning magic... it's... the talent for it is something you have to be born with.

Is it hereditary or just a wild chance?

[enigmaster]

Sometimes the latter. Sometimes the former. My mother was a summoner, so... I guess it passed to me.
