Salieri huffs out a small sigh and moves to follow, albeit at a slightly slower pace. After all, he's not exactly needed for this orientation. But he'll be there to observe, at least]

[Edward's okay in orientation... for a little bit. He's not exactly getting away scot free for being late, of course. But they keep going... ... Until, of course, Edward ends up completely unconscious again. ...definitely pushed himself too hard. The director looks unhappy with this.]

Welp, time to take him back to the infirmary again, and once again play nursemaid. Honestly, why him??

Probably because he's one of the few main staff not needed for the orientation--his role is currently as an assistant to the person who heads the rayshifts and such--he's one of three. So he supposes that it's not shocking that he's been set as a babysitter.

He'll make sure the young man gets transported safely back to the infirmary, where Salieri will then run another diagnostic spell and wait until he wakes again]

[It's the second time that Edward's finding himself slowly opening his eyes to see that same metal ceiling. It takes a bit, before it sinks in what must have happened. But earlier definitely wasn't a dream. Which means...] ...Ughhh, not again.

I hope you won't be in a rush to get out the door this time.

Probably wouldn't do much good, anyway. [They're definitely sending him away this time. He's sure of it. He's just going to take his pillow and groan into it.]

There, now. You only were late to orientation and then fainted during said orientation. It could be worse.

Mm, it could've been right in front of the Director.

Oh, wait.

[he hates this! he hates it!!!]

Yes, thank goodness it wasn't right in front of the Director. That surely would've been quite embarrassing.

Ugh... She's definitely sending me away, right? After something like that... [And now he'll have to explain that to his father. That... won't be a fun conversation.]

What, for fainting? [he arches an eyebrow] I doubt that.

Ah yes, the most terrible of crimes: fainting and being late.

I can see why you would assume the punishment of such to be quite severe.

[..........just let him wallow in his misery gosh] ...I guess. ...I don't exactly want to go back in there, though.

Alas. I'm sorry to say that, eventually, you must. You might perhaps have a brief reprieve, though, to rest. Say...half an hour? Until you actually feel better.

They probably wouldn't even notice I wasn't there, anyway...

[That's exactly what he didn't want! Not like this! He's gonna go back to groaning into that pillow now. Here lies Edward, he died as he lived: embarrassing himself.]

[Nothing but another, louder groan escapes from behind the pillow.]

Come now. Surely within the week, amid the bustle of classes and missions, all will be forgotten.

I guess... Maybe. [He's not optimistic, but then. Is he ever?] ...Um...
