[He ducks his head a little, at that.] ...I'm... just not good around most people. Sorry.

You have nothing to be sorry for. I should have asked first. [he huffs a little bit, but it's at himself] I apologize.

[enigmaster]

Ah, n-no, you don't have to apologize or anything. It's fine, really...

I feel as though I do, though. This was your outing also.

It's fine... [edward you're being a bit of a broken record] I'm still enjoying it, so...

....if you're sure. [he presses his lips together a bit, though] I'll still ask next time.

[that...was an abrupt topic change with absolutely no segue, so it takes Oswald a solid couple seconds to catch up--but when he does, he blinks, once, a little surprised] ...I don't?

No. You don't. I wasn't sure if you believed me when I said that earlier, but... Um... A-Anyway, just. Don't worry about that...?

...okay. [...] If you won't worry about telling me if something's not fine.

[WELL THAT'S JUST NO FAIR] I'll... try...?

[Well, that's definitely better than a no.] Okay. [:> he is pleased] Thank you.

Sure. [freaking lawyer of course he'd make a deal out of it] I might not be great at that, but... [Well. Like he said, he'll try.] Mm... [He's. Going to focus on his food again for a moment, because he feels very unsure of himself right now whoops.]

[And, of course, Harvey returns shortly. So back to hanging out again, though Edward is... trying to open up.

...Trying being the key word, he's still mostly very quiet, but he's doing his best.]

[things...go smoother after that. At least, it seems so. Edward is still quiet, but he seems a bit more relaxed, at least. and that allows Oswald to relax a bit more. Conversation flows a bit easier as time passes, until the concert is finally over and the food is gone. And Oswald stretches a bit trying to stifle a yawn]

[And Harvey, eventually, says his goodbyes and gets going. It might be the weekend, but he still has some work he'd like to get done. Which leaves Oswald and Edward alone, now. Edward glances over at Oswald.] ...Tired?

A little. [.....] But I also was hoping he might leave if I seemed a bit tired. Or that we could leave. [:>]

[enigmaster]

Ah... [Oswald.] You probably could've just said you'd like to leave, you know.

[agoodname]

I could've...but this way we didn't have to leave. [and he....scoots a little closer to Edward]

[enigmaster]

Oh. [.....Oh, okay.] ...I guess it's fine, then.
