[for a bit, there, there's only the sounds of nature and the sea around them as Oswald languishes in the water, enjoying how it buoys hm gently. Plus it's nice to just...have some semblance of a bath. He's gotten used to a bit of human things over the years: eating, drinking and bathing being the primary ones. Maybe a bit of the clothing and fashion. It's all done to fit in, though. To try and not stand out like a sore thumb.
Really.
Eventually, though, he wanders out of the water and onto the sand, stretching out beneath the shade of a tree to dry off a bit]
[Edward exits later and doesn't take a spot in the shade, but rather lies down right in the sun. He might not be cold blooded exactly in this form, certainly not as he is in his other one, but he's not necessarily... not? It's complicated.
But the heat is pleasant and, as he takes it in, he lets out a sigh that starts sounding like more of a hiss.]
[oswald cracks an eye open at that, before he pushes himself towards his feet, wandering slowly towards the hut. there is nothing to do here and they don't *have* to eat but it's something to do, anyway, so he's taking a couple steps into the jungle to start gathering some fruit while Edward suns himself]
[Edward doesn't react, really, to Oswald walking off. He just keeps lying there. Face up, lying on the ground. Starting to doze after a few moments, because heat does have that effect on him.
[sometime later, who knows how long but the sun is getting closer to the horizon as Oswald nudges Edward with his toes, cradling a bunch of fruit in his hands]
[the corner of his mouth definitely twitches upwards at that, smirking in amusement] Does that just happen on its own when you're not paying attention?

Can't really take the snake out of him.]

I have dinner.

[The sun starting to set means the nice heat is starting to disappear, slowly, which is... unfortunate. But he's still feeling kind of sleepy...]

[It's kind of... an instinctive noise, as he rolls over a little. No. Sleepy.
Please provide him with a warm rock to lay on top of.]

Did you just hiss at me?
[he sounds amused]

[Reluctantly, Edward gets up.]
Guess the heat's dissssappearing anyway. [And he coughs a little awkwardly. That was. Very unintentional.] I mean, ah. I'm coming.

Not that I think their opinion of me can go too much lower, but, still.

And more overtly violent.
[Not that heaven isn't violent, in its own way, but hell sort of revels in it.]
