[he curls his hand around Edward and there's an odd sensation--and then they're not on top of that hill any more.

Instead, they're in what looks like a little...hut? There's the light smell of the ocean. Behind them there's only jungle. In the hut are two hammocks, a pit in the middle for a fire, a sky light. That's about it, actually.]

[They're elsewhere. It's sudden and yet not, because the sensation of being elsewhere from one moment to the next is familiar. The suddenness is almost more because he didn't know what to expect out of this. The smell of the ocean is comforting, replacing the smell of blood and rot. Some tension - not all, but some - leaves him at that. He still looks confused, though, as he just... looks around the hut they're in.]

[Oswald sets down his sword with a clang, vanishing his heavy armor and the blood and the uniform] I figured we could both use a break.

[enigmaster]

Oh. I suppose we're... probably due for one, yes. [...] I didn't really think you were the break type.

I'm not, really.

[enigmaster]

What, so this is purely for my benefit, then?

[Oswald shrugs a shoulder] It was suggested to me at one point, so I figured it would be appropriate.

[enigmaster]

I see. [...] ...Thank you. [It feels wrong to say that as a demon to an angel, but, well. Here they are.]

[agoodname]

Don't mention it. [...a bit dryly. Seriously, don't mention it. To anyone. he starts to walk out of the hut towards the beach and the water, stretching his arms above his head] I figured this place was remote enough, anyway.

[enigmaster]

Mention that I went off with an angel? I'd never.

[The corner of his mouth quirks slightly, there, because honestly. The trouble he'd be in.]

It is, yes.

It has been a while since I've been away from all of... that.

I'm going for a swim. [just fyi]

...Angels swim, do they?

[agoodname]

This one does. [he smirks a bit] Quite well, actually.

[enigmaster]

You're not going to bless the water around you, are you?

[agoodname]

[he scoffs at that] That would be way too much work for how quickly it would disperse.

[enigmaster]

Doesn't that describe most of the work angels do?

[agoodname]

[. . . . . .] ...[:|] If that's all you've seen, then you should perhaps count yourself lucky I've been going easy on you.

I said angels, in a general sense. They're not all like you.

[agoodname]

[....] Oh? How's that then? [turning back a bit towards Edward and arching an eyebrow]

[enigmaster]

You're far sharper, for one. In more ways than one... [Sharp as an executioner's blade.]

[agoodname]

Yes, I should certainly hope so. [the corner of his mouth quirks at that into a smirk that is, indeed, quite sharp. Oswald has always been all angels, seemingly cut with a lack of anything soft in mind.] One has to be sharp in this sort of business, don't you think?

[enigmaster]

...I suppose it helps. It certainly stands out.

Does it? [he tilts his head a bit] I'm glad you think so, then.

[enigmaster]

[Edward's not sure if he meant it as a compliment or not. Not an insult, certainly. Perhaps he did...?] It's... simply an accurate description. That's all. [But go... go swim, Oswald.]

[agoodname]

I'll take sharp over dull any day. [smirking--and he goes to head into the water, vanishing his remaining clothes as he does so because why would he bother???]
