[he sure is--and his breath is wheezing still a bit oddly in his lungs though so that might not be great. His injured leg is stretched out in front of him and he's definitely still propped up on that banister lol]
[Edward comes across this scene and just... sighs. Okay.
Yeah, he'll pick Oswald up again. The dust really does seem to be a problem, so... He'll bring Oswald somewhere else this time.
When Oswald wakes up, he'll be in a different bedroom. It's... smaller, significantly so, and much less decorated. Additionally, rather than having curtains over it, the window (singular) is instead boarded up.
On the upside, there's a lot less dust and it's still warm enough. Edward piled the blankets on again.]
[he does make a mostly-asleep protesting noise as he's picked up, and immediately burrows back into the soft fur on Edward's chest once he is. He's certainly easier to transport this way; much less flailing. He also seems very loathe to let go of Edward once he's set down, but can be pried off with a bit of effort.
When he wakes, though, he's...very confused, blinking into the darkened bedroom. There's a small sliver of light from the windows, but it's not much as he slowly sits up, noting the cover of blankets again.
[Still up the stairs, but more out of the way. Either this bedroom was intended for servants or, possibly, it wasn't intended as a bedroom at all and simply converted into one. Tucked into a corner like it is, it certainly doesn't feel like it's anything important.]
[....well. This is very much not what he was expecting.
He starts to slowly move down the hall. He still feels a bit worn out, but certainly better. He doesn't call out for Edward just yet--maybe he can find him before then?]
[Oswald's eyes narrow--and he's going to slowly start to make his way a bit more down the stairs, one step at a time, leaning on the banister and his crutch. It's an...effort]
Oswald huffs, glancing over at the pots on the stove, but...he doesn't see anything boiling over. So he's going to tap his way over there next to him, leaning on his crutch]
Oswald looks amused still, and turns to check on the pots, gently nudging the soup pot off before pushing the other a little more on the burner, and then adding a few more logs to the fire. He's not exactly going to for quiet, but also not trying to be louder than normal.]
right, now that there's nothing but for to let it stew a bit longer, he's going to just...go sit for a moment.
And then, a moment later, he's going to give into the curiosity of vague memories and seat himself on the floor, tentatively reaching out to brush his fingers across Edward's ears]
[Well, there's plenty of cloth around the castle, Oswald. Take your pick. Old clothes, curtains, what have you. Any room has plenty of materials to use.]
[he selects some curtains, easily pulling apart some of the material and locating a needle and old thread in a drawer. Then he's going to get started on that apron, sitting on the couch, occasionally getting up to check on the pots]

Huh.
He's going to look around for his crutch]

Once he heads into the kitchen, though, he'll see Edward there. On the floor, wings wrapped around himself.
He's asleep.]

Well, really now. [he sounds far too amused]

Right, well, it doesn't seem to wake him, so he's going to pet them again. Still just very gently but....boy those ears are soft]

[Yeah, he makes a noise at that. But... still asleep?]

Oswald huffs, and retracts his hand, moving to push to his feet. Maybe he can get started on that apron]
