[Oswald wrinkles his nose a little bit but eyes it critically, scuffing the ground a bit with his cane....before he simply nods] Yes, alright. I suppose it's acceptable.

Yes, lets. [he's going to just tuck his cane under his arm, starting to unfold the blanket.]

[And Edward will also just, get to setting up. Glancing around a little. There's a decent amount of people around, which... makes it a little hard to tell if there's any ghosts mixed in. ...He'll just. Stay on guard.]

[Oswald will settle as well, though it takes a bit longer, due to quite a bit of shifting to find a comfortable position for his leg--but eventually he does get out his phone to just...take a picture of their surroundings and where they're seated. Edward might be in the picture]

[Edward blinks a little, glancing over just as Oswald takes the picture. And he tilts his head a little.] Oh... Did you take a picture?

Yes--I'm sending it to Harvey so he knows where we are when he gets here. [yep he is sending that off but also....definitely...keeping it.]

[Makes sense, of course. But...] ...Can you... send that to me, too? [He wouldn't mind having that...]

Ah--of course. [right. He'll send it off to Edward, too, then.]

Thank you. [And he's just. Going to take a look at that... It's. Nice. Having a picture with someone else...]

[he just....is so tempted to put that as his cellphone background but super won't alsdhfs] It's a nice picture, even if it was accidental.

...Mhm. It is pretty nice. [Though Edward always just looks neutral at best in pictures, since. He doesn't smile and all. ...He hopes it doesn't make him look apathetic.]

[HE LOOKS LIKE A MODEL?? in that jacket and that bone structure so unfair. Anyway--he'll start unpacking their picnic. There are a couple ghosts here and there, but none that look like they're particularly concerned.]

[Edward glances around a little bit. Nervously, at first, but none of the ghosts seem like they're heading this way for now. Though he can really only spot a few obvious ones.] ...It's a pretty nice day. For Gotham.

It is. We got rather lucky, I think. [he sounds a bit amused, setting out the last of the things he'd packed in the basket]

Very lucky. [And... Edward pauses. Hesitates.] Um, you-- [And that's about. When Harvey arrives. Because of course it is. He's smiling as he makes his way over.] "Oh, good, there you are. I was almost worried Edward would've disappeared again before I could actually get here."

[Oswald had been looking at Edward then--but Harvey takes his attention and he glances away, the corner of his mouth curling in a welcoming smile]

Ah, you found us alright. [he'll offer his hand to shake because that's how you greet people of course]

[Harvey shakes his hand, of course, because they are Polite Lawyers. Edward skips it, because. It's Edward.] Mhm... "Glad to be here, too. And with such a nice spot, too." [Harvey will go sit down and join them properly. Third wheel, officially here.]

Edward picked it out. He put up with my fussing quite patiently. [he turns his head to quirk a smile in Edward's direction]

"Well, good eye then, Edward." Ah... Yeah. Thanks. [...The difference is a little startling. How much quieter Edward is with Harvey compared to how he is with Oswald. Not that he's not still on the quiet side with Oswald, but it's still a big difference.]

[it...honestly is a little startling? Oswald blinks a bit....and finally maybe starts to wonder if inviting Harvey may have been a mistake. --which is about the time the band starts up] Shall we start on lunch, then? [and yep he's going to start opening up containers and passing out plates and such]

[Edward is a little grateful for that. More things to focus on than talking. The music and the food both make for great distractions. He can just... let Harvey and Oswald talk for a bit. That's fine.]

[the chatter is idle. Not really about anything specific. Cases, office gossip, nothing...drastic. Comments about the band.

[Edward feels... out of place. It's just a normal social thing. But maybe he just can't... do those? He thought he could, but...

At some point, though, Harvey is distracted by something and... oh. Seems there's someone he knows there.]

"I'll just go over there really quick. Alright?"

[Harvey is glancing down at Edward, trying to be mindful of his comfort, but Edward just. Nods.]

[Harvey leaves (temporarily)...and Oswald's scooting over a bit so he can talk to Edward--and his forehead creases in a frown a bit] Should I...not have invited him?
