I'm back. They took the body to precinct to have it identified by forensics, but I'm pretty sure I already know who it is. [he's talking, even as he hangs things up]

[There's... a bit of a delay, again, between someone speaking and Edward really hearing it. So it takes a few moments before Edward actually looks up.] Oh... Welcome back.

[coming around into the living room now, leaning pretty hard on his cane] Thank you. [he's going to just...sit down very gingerly on the sofa. His hip is still pretty badly bruised because o w still, and he rubs at it, setting his cane aside]

....are they normally like that?

[And Edward is going to come over and join Oswald there. Though he pauses for a second before sitting down, at that question.] ...Sometimes. [He takes a seat.] It depends on how... together someone is, after dying. Sometimes what's left behind is very angry.

...how common is that? That anger?

[enigmaster]

I don't know, I guess... it happens sometimes? [He's never really counted.] For people who were murdered or were betrayed or something like that... I think... it's usually worse for very traumatic deaths. [And this? Pretty freaking traumatic.] Slow ones, especially. That's a lot of time for negative emotions to get worse.

["sometimes" is not particularly comforting, nor is what Edward describes]

....and how often do you get hurt when you're doing these sorts of things?

Not a lot. ...It's mostly... a lot of dramatics.

So they don't often try and pick you up and throw you into things? [eyebrow arch]

[enigmaster]

...Not often, no. [Not often, he says, like that makes it better.] That was... kind of extreme. ...Are you sure you're okay after that?

I'll be bruised, but I've had worse. [his lips still thin into a line as presses them together, though] ....are you alright?

I'm... [He's about to go ahead with the usual reassurance that of course he's fine. And... mostly, he is, except... Except when his thoughts start to wander. ...And he does have pretty clear instructions about. Talking to Oswald.] ...not sure.
