[the corner of Oswald's mouth quirks a little bit--and he reaches up to fuss with the collar, shifting how much it's folded over and smoothing down some of the lining, reaching up to settle it better around his neck before flattening it over his shoulders, dragging his palms slowly over the wool before taking his hands away.] There.

[Edward swallows again, as Oswald works on his collar. Trying to force himself to be less tense. There's nothing bad about this bit of contact. It's honestly... nice, really, so he'd like to be able to relax a little more. And then it's done already. He exhales, slow.] Ah... Thank you.

Not at all. [the corner of his mouth quirks a bit into a smile that is....well. A little softer and more affectionate than he probably means it to be. And then he's stepping back and out of the way, giving Edward a chance to see himself in the mirror] ...I'd say it suits you quite well. Very handsome.

[And at that, Edward can't help but... go a little bit red.] Ah... [Oswald, please, you can't just... say that. While smiling like that and being so nice and ffffffff--] Um. Thank you...

[Ah. He...might've gone too far again. And he hides a wince by turning and hanging up the other coat--swallowing hard.]

Excellent. [he turns back, then] Here--I'll take it, and you grab our things and I'll meet you by the entrance?

Sure... Alright.

[Yep, okay. That's perfect, actually, he'll. Go do that.]

[right he's just going to....go pay for that coat. And then meet Edward by the entrance--and hold out the bag to him] Here. I asked the cashier to remove the tags--so you can wear it now, if you like.

[enigmaster]

[Edward nods, at that. Taking the bag and taking out his new coat to wear. It does feel... very nice.] ...Um. Thank you.

You're welcome. [he'll take his old coat back and put it in the back, then, after folding it properly, as Edward gets settled in his new coat, before reaching down to pick the blanket back up as well and wait for him to finish.]

[Edward finishes up. Stopping a moment to just... appreciate the coat, a little, before he picks up the basket again. Though he's momentarily distracted just. Looking at Oswald for a moment. ... And he swallows.] ...Ready.

[Edward just...looks at him for a moment, and Oswald blinks a bit--before his expression goes a bit confused. But then he doesn't say anything and says he's ready and oswald just--] ...okay. [he makes for the door, intending to hail a taxi]

[And Edward maybe... stands a little closer than he otherwise would, as Oswald does that.]

[Oswald huffs a bit, settling back a bit, leaning on his cane. And he--glances up at Edward, then] ...are you alright, Edward?

Huh? [Edward looks up quickly, maybe a little caught off guard by the question.] Um. Yes...?

[well that's...a relief?] Ah...good. [he fidgets for a moment, looking down at the head of his cane] ....I apologize if I've made you uncomfortable at all. I know I can be a little....enthusiastic at times.

What? [Hm????] Oh, no, you... you haven't. At all. Really.

...Oh. [yeah he's...not sure he believes that.] Well...if I do, you can tell me, and I'll stop. It's not a problem. In fact I'd--I'd rather you told me. If I do so. So I can stop. [alskdflsdkhf] I'd hate for you to feel uncomfortable. [oH HEY GREAT THERE'S THE TAXI] Ah. There--shall we?

[Edward... thinks about saying something. Bringing the issue back up. But... Oswald seemed glad to drop it. So. He'll just stay quiet.]

[that's fine--it's not too much farther to the park, anyway, so the ride is fairly short. And Oswald is climbing out of the taxi and stretching a little, before looking out towards the park and the grounds] Right--let's see if we can find a good spot, then.

Mhm-hm. [Edward's keeping an eye out, too, but mostly focusing on following Oswald. And. Maybe he keeps glancing at him. Listen. Give him a break. ...He may have a bit of a crush.]
