Butch says it is. But I don't remember it being that way. I remember it being a city that I grew up in.

Even at night, yes. A Zanarkand that never sleeps.

... [That's the second time he's heard someone talk about this. So, rather than disbelief, Edward finds himself immediately feeling that... this must be true.] It sounds... amazing.

Well, it was destroyed a thousand years ago. Most people would have no reason to think it's real.

Mmn. Apparently so. [yeah he still doesn't like hearing about it, though.]

There must be. It must have to do with Sin, as far as I can tell, but I haven't had the chance to do much knowledge gathering yet.

There isn't much here in Besaid... It's... peaceful here, but... [He shakes his head a bit.] Well, you might have more luck in Luca.

Luca. That's where Butch said the boat was headed, yes?

Mhm, that's right. Well... first we head to Kilika, but then we head to Luca after, yes. Are you... going to be joining us?

[agoodname]

Certainly. [he huffs a bit] It's really my only chance at leaving this village, so naturally I'm taking it.

[enigmaster]

...You want to get out of here that badly?

[agoodname]

Absolutely. [dryly] I grew up in the big city. These sorts of places...aren't really suited to my personality.

[enigmaster]

Oh. I guess I can understand that... Well, um, you'll probably like Luca much better, then. It's the second biggest city in Spira.

[agoodname]

Oh? What's the first?

[enigmaster]

That would be Bevelle. It's much further up north. I was born there, actually. I lived there for some time, until I moved here. It's... a lot bigger there. Perhaps you'd like it.

It sounds like my kind of place. [he can't help but smirk a bit] I admit, I'm certainly a bit of a city boy. I always have been.

[enigmaster]

It... can be a bit stuffy, though. Luca is more easygoing, I'm told. I suppose because the stadium is there... ...But, that may have just been my experience. I didn't get out much when I lived in Bevelle.
