[Sucks to be you, bud. But hey, you survived an encounter with Sin. Still alive. That's more than most can say.
At least Butch will be here to help him out a bit. Get him settled into the village and all. Though he'll be disappearing into the temple after. Apparently, some "summoner" has been inside there for over a day now.
More importantly, this is keeping Butch busy and he still hasn't actually gotten Oswald some clean clothes or a meal, so, you know, priorities.]
[UUUUUUUGH????? This is ridiculous. So fine, he'll just invite himself into the temple as well because what else is he going to do exactly? Not to mention he's also grumpy enough now to just forgo any interest in how forbidden the sanctum is, and instead is going to invite himself down there because honestly this is just ridiculous. It sounds like that summoner also needs some clean clothes and a meal too so really this is two birds with one stone.]
[Well, he'll get through, at least. It looks like there's some sort of puzzle for getting through here, but... well, the nice thing about that is there's someone already in. So, it's all solved already.
He'll eventually find himself deeper down, in the chamber right before the end. Butch is following, a bit exasperated, but what can you do. But at the end there are two girls. One of them, a redhead, just blinks as she spots Oswald.]
"Oh, you're new. And not supposed to be in here." [She gives Butch a bit of a :| face.] "You know we're not supposed to let tourists in here."
Yes, well, do forgive me. I'm afraid the straw huts and the variety of jungle bugs weren't really up my alley as far as seeing the sites goes. [overly pleasant and dry as a desert]
"So you came here to get us all excommunicated instead? Bold." [She huffs a bit. Still mostly looking at Butch.] "Seriously, just, get him out of here before we get in trouble? We're still busy waiting."
[And out steps a boy, about Oswald's age, with brown hair that has just a bit of red in there, maybe. Spectacles on his face. Clothes... like a loose, light robe, pale green with more vivid greens as accents.
He's stumbling, though, and won't make it more than a step or two before going down.]
[and Oswald's moving on automatic, pushing out of Ivy's grasp just as this boy comes stumbling out, quickly pushing up the last couple of steps so he can catch him as he goes down.
Not that it helps. He's not exactly built to hold his own weight well most of the time, much less someone else's as well, so they're probably both going down. Though Oswald does manage to keep a grip on the boy and keep him from hitting his head--even though it does his ankle no favors]
[They may still go down, but it's at least just down to the floor, rather than tumbling down the stairs. The boy blinks at the catch, carefully raising his head a bit. Bright green eyes looking into Oswald's.]
...Ah...
[He's now realizing that this is very much a stranger.]
[laksdhfs Oswald starts to help him up--but then he just goes back down again into his lap and he'll cause a bit of a wince at that as it jars his ankle]
Alright, yes, maybe don't do that just yet.
[he huffs]
I'm Oswald. And you look like you need a change of clothes and a meal just as much as I do.
[Normally, he might be protesting more. Ask this Oswald just who he is, why he's here, insist that he's doing just fine, thank you, but...
But, well, you spend over twenty four hours praying and it kind of takes the fight out of you.
So he just kind of looks at Oswald and then at everyone else in the room. Feeling as if he's missing something here, for there to be someone else in this room...]
[well now there's definitely enough time for others to have caught up to them, so they're definitely ushered back out in short order--with Edward given a couple other people to lean on on the way out]
[Everything gets a bit busy after that. They're ushered out, Edward doing his best to walk on his own again, as they meet... well... basically the whole rest of the village waiting for them. He's crowded pretty quickly and doesn't get another word out to Oswald before that happens.
...But hey, Oswald can maybe finally get that meal.]
And like the whole rest of the village may be waiting for them but that's like, what, ten people?? Easy enough to avoid so he can focus on getting some food please maybe.]
[He'll get his food, no worries. Though through the tent's opening, as he's eating, he may just see, uh... a giant bird appearing in the center of town.

very green
and that's, well...really it's rather striking.
And then he sucks in a breath and huffs]
Well. At least I was right.
no subject
I-- What? S-Sorry, um, who're... [and he moves to push himself up...] Who're you--?
[He's still dizzy, though, so he just quickly goes back down again.]

come out and take a look at that, abandoning his meal for the moment because wtf is that actually]

And then, a moment later, he twirls his staff around... and the creature vanishes, as if it was never there.]
no subject
Well that's...unique.
[what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck tho]

[It's the red haired girl again, who's just approaching Oswald. Arms crossed as she searches his face a moment.]
"What, you didn't sneak into the temple just so you could get an early peek?"
no subject
What is a summoner, exactly?
no subject
"...You're kidding, right?"
