[30 goddamn flights. Listen, Edward walks around a lot, so that's fine, but. He's not in great shape. On the other hand, adrenaline is kind of fueling him right now and he said he was going out so he's going on a fucking walk, damn it. He's just! Gonna do that! Even though he's kind of tired! Especially since he was literally just coming back from a walk when he got home so oh god this is such a bad idea why is he still walking.......]

Well, maybe it isn't your-- [Hey, guess what? Streetlight is sparking and going out. And Edward stops walking and just... lets out the longest, most exhausted breath. Why is this his life...]

[Butch turns to look at it, huffing] "What do they want, exactly?"

[Edward pauses, for a bit. He's actually listening to the ghost, who is just repeating their request, because they'll gladly say what they want again! And... with a sigh, Edward just pulls out his phone. He's got a location to look up.] Apparently their grave was defiled and they refuse to wait just one more second, even though this really could wait another day... But that's not happening, so... [Okay, welp...]

"....so you gotta go to a graveyard in the middle of the night?"

[enigmaster]

Yep. [Time to get a taxi, okay, cool.]

"Okay. Well, it won't be the first time." [and he'll just....easily flag down a taxi.] "If it's alright if I come along, that is."

[enigmaster]

[butch that's a worrying statement] ...If you want to, I guess.

"Sure. Kinda wanna see what all this is about, anyway."

[enigmaster]

Alright. [Whatever, okay. Edward will just, get in the taxi. And off to the graveyard they go, which is... quiet, of course, because it's late at night. And once they get to the grave in question, Edward just. Stops. Stares. And puts a hand to his face.] ...Seriously? [There is. A plastic bag stuck on the grave. Not even on purpose. It looks like the wind just blew it there and then it got stuck.]

[and Butch just....stares at it. Before reaching out and plucking it off.

He sincerely looks like he's trying not to laugh]

You said defiled. [Edward is. So tired. And so annoyed.] No, no, don't-- No, you said your place of eternal rest had been defiled and... oh my god. [He drags his hand down his face. HE'S SO. TIRED.] Oh my god this is the stupidest-- [HE HATES HIS LIFE] Okay, whatever. Is it good now? [A beat.] ...Okay, great, because I'm done.

I have half a mind to actually deface the damn thing...

"If you're that tempted, we could go to the grocery store and get some eggs. But then they'd probably throw another tantrum."

[he still looks like he's struggling not to laugh at this whole situation]

...Yeah, probably. Not worth it, I guess. Stupid, overdramatic... Ugh. [He glances at his phone. It is... kind of late, now.] Guess I'll just go home... [He's still kind of mad. This hasn't helped as much as he hoped it would.]
