[Edward looks ready to argue. In fact, he's already opening his mouth to do just that, but... It doesn't really seem as if Oswald will just budge on this issue.]
[and now he scowls] We'll go down tomorrow and see if we can find out where they put them. [aka he is going to raise hell until he gets Edwards things js] In the mean time...[he wanders over to the walk in closet, digging through one of the drawers and pulling out a pair of pajamas]
You can wear these to bed. They might be a bit short on you, but we'll get your stuff tomorrow, or worst come to worst, get you another pair.
If you want to take a shower or anything, the shampoo and towels are already in the bathroom. [which is about the time the intercom system rings, and Oswald's head turns towards it] Ah, I think that'll be dinner--[and he's moving to go back into the hall to let their delivery up]
[Edward lingers, for a second, trying to just. Process all of this? It's a lot. But after a few moments, he just puts the pajamas down for later. Heading out of the bedroom.]
[and the delivery person does knock--and comes laden with what looks like far too much chinese food for two people. And Oswald's calling from the kitchen] If you want to bring it to the table--I've got plates and utensils.
[here you go, Edward, your illegal imbibement. And the corner of Oswald's mouth quirks in amusement, before grabbing their plates and the other cups and a bottle of water to bring to the...rather impressive and overly large dining table.]
[It really is a big ass table, but okay. More than just looking at that, Edward takes in the room a little. Not... really just to look at it, though it is obviously very impressive. But he tends to do a quick scan for ghost when in a new place.
Less surprises that way.
...From an outside perspective he probably just seems distracted.]
[In a corner of the room, there is, in fact, a ghost. She seems rather unassuming, actually, and is sitting on the couch, leaning over a bit to read through the front page of the newspaper that's resting on it. She's dressed in an old fashioned maid's outfit, and seems to be, in general, ignoring them both.
Oswald, completely ignorant of her presence, has sat himself at the table--and glances over, curious ]
[And... god, honestly? Edward wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't picky. He barely even checks to see what food he's getting, because he's just glad to have actual food and not the stuff they were serving while he was locked up.
Actual good tasting food. Yeah, there's something he's missed.]

...Alright then. If you're sure.
no subject
[he frowns, just a touch] Did you have anything at your apartment that you left there?

no subject
Oh... Thanks.
[Honestly that's the stuff he hadn't even thought about yet. Everything's been kind of... much.]

They're on their way up--I'll get us some plates and utensils from the kitchen, if you wouldn't mind opening the door when they knock?
no subject
[okay well this is all continuing to happen
and he's just... going to wait around there, until that happens......]
no subject
no subject
Isn't this a bit too much food...?
no subject
Ah...perhaps? [he shrugs a shoulder] We'll just have some leftovers.
no subject
[Oswald there's gonna be leftovers for days here. And... he blinks a little as Oswald gets out the wine.]
Ah...
[...OSWALD KNOWS HIS AGE, RIGHT...]
no subject
Did you...? [he arches an eyebrow--did you want some wine, Edward?]
no subject
[OSWALD YOU'RE A LAWYER???]
no subject
no subject
You don't have a problem with that, as a lawyer?
no subject
I'm not at work right now, am I?
[YEP, POURIN YOU THAT GLASS OF WINE EDWARD]
no subject
[So. Sure, okay, he'll take that.]

Edward?
no subject
Hm?
[He looks up a little distractedly. And blinks.]
Oh, um... [Yeah, he'll just. Take a seat? Yeah, he'll take a seat.]
